Community outreach

Richardson Electronics and its founders have a deep commitment to social, civic, and environmental issues. Each year Richardson and its employees contribute time or financial resources in their communities and abroad to support local, national, and international programs.

Community Outreach

Richardson Electronics supports various toy, clothing & food drives, and blood drives around the world. We also provide our employees with an annual Volunteer Day to allow them to participate in giving back and supporting local communities.

Richardson Wildlife Foundation

The Richardson Wildlife Foundation (RWF), located in Lee County in north central Illinois, is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the long-term restoration of habitats and the judicious use of our natural resources. The Foundation was established in 1989 by Edward J. Richardson with an initial land donation of 250 acres and three primary goals of Habitat Restoration; Conservation Education; and Research. This area is recognized as part of the Grand Prairie Division of Illinois and was part of the historic, 30,000-acre Inlet Swamp and adjacent bluff lands.

These are just a few examples of the support and contributions made recently to events, programs, and organizations dedicated to helping improve the lives of others. Together we can make a difference.
