Job Description

The Production Technician will participate in all daily production activities related to the manufacturing of Custom Displays.  Duties will include but are not limited to, the assembly of electronic components, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, product packaging and the completion of all related build documentation to meet and exceed our customer’s requirements.  All work must be performed in a safe and conscientious manner.   On occasion, technicians may be required to perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Job Responsibilities: 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assembly and test custom displays as well as complete all related build documentation
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

Non-essential Job Functions: None

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Qualification Requirements: Must have at minimum, basic understanding of electronic components in addition to 2+ years of previous assembly experience in an electro/mechanical manufacturing environment.  Candidate must be familiar with daily manufacturing responsibilities such as but not limited to, process flow, ESD requirements, clean room requirements and following processes/procedures to meet and exceed ISO 9000 Standards.  Individuals must be very team oriented and demonstrate a strong desire to learn.  He/she must be computer literate and be familiar with Windows Operating Systems and programs such as MS Word and Excel.  Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.  Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs to and from bench top level.

 

Working Environment:

Environment consists of Cleanroom ESD Manufacturing Labs.  All production personnel are required to wear ESD Smocks and heel/wrist straps when working on or handling any exposed electronics.

Pay Range: $20-23 per hour
