Job Description: With minimum supervision, perform duties to maintain, repair, test/production equipment. Builds engineering designed circuits for testing and production equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions:
- 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance/Industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices
- Troubleshooting ability of AC/DC control circuits
- 120/240 VAC and 440/480 VAC single and three phase power circuits
- Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in electrical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to perform accurate diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade various machine controls consisting of relay logic.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade various in house-built equipment.
- Diagnoses and repair complex electrical issues including motors, drives, control circuits, and power systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, HMIs, and control panels.
- Install, test, and service wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Document all maintenance activities in CMMS and support inventory/parts management.
- Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures
- Install enhancements and major upgrades to plant electrical subsystems
- Test wiring connections with test equipment like volt/ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
- Work with Engineering to modify equipment for new applications.
- Build new test and production equipment from schematics and blueprints.
- Vacuum system maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Repair and rebuild mechanical, diffusion and ion vacuum pumps.
- Perform building and grounds maintenance.
- Move and install mechanical and electrical equipment that may require electrical, gas, cooling water and compressed air services.
- Assemble and disassemble cubicles and furniture.
- Certified forklift and man lift operator.
- Support ISO9001 quality standards as related to job duties.
- Handles hazardous waste.
- Must be able to be “on call”. Must be within 45 minutes of facility when on call.
Non-essential Job Functions:
- Rough carpentry work (erect walls, build crates etc.)
- Plumbing skills
- Welding skills
- HVAC experience
- Certified forklift and man lift operator
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualification Requirements: 5-7 years’ prior industrial maintenance experience in the areas of electrical and mechanical maintenance. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Working Environment: Work may be in the factory, warehouse, and office area or outside of the facility. May have to work at other locations, which may not have air conditioning

Pay Range: $31-$35/hr plus incentive
