Richardson Electronics offers induction heating and melting capacitors for use in the power supplies of industrial heating equipment. The DC voltage units are used for power factor correction for the power supply and for AC ripple current filtering on a DC bus. These capacitors can also be used as shunt capacitors to tune or match the heating coil to the high frequency. We are proud to be the master distributor for General Electric (GE) induction capacitors. Our full line covers capacitance from .002 uf to 5800 uf, with voltages ranging from DC to 15,000 Vac.
