Community outreach

Richardson Electronics and its founders have a deep commitment to social, civic and environmental issues. Each year Richardson and its employees contribute time or financial resources in their communities and abroad to support local, national and international programs.

Through our Richardson Wildlife Foundation, we support habitat restoration and development, conservation education, and research. Richardson Electronics also supports various toy drives and blood drives around the world, and the Kane County Illinois Fraternal Order of Police’s “Shop-With-A-Cop” program. These are just a few examples of the support and contributions made recently to events, programs and organizations dedicated to helping improve the lives of others. Together we can make a difference.

Richardson Electronics is a proud sponsor of the local F.I.R.S.T. Team 2451.

“PWNAGE Robotic Team #2451 are premier FIRST FRC and VEX Robotics teams excelling in robotics for youth in grades 6-12.  PWNAGE robotics is unique because it is a community team made up of students from over 10 surrounding Fox Valley and Chicago western suburb High Schools, Middle Schools and Home School members.
